“Da Capo Udo Jürgens”is a musical “Best Of“ and an emotional journey through the extraordinary life’s work of the charismatic and exceptional artist Udo Jürgens. Thanks to state-of-the-art technology, the audience experiences a brilliantly staged and absolutely spectacular show, both visually and acoustically. Elaborately digitally edited original recordings and concert footage are performed live on stage under the direction of none other than Pepe Lienhard and the same outstanding orchestra that accompanied Udo for nearly four decades at concerts around the world. At the same time, Udo appears larger than life on a giant screen, both visible and audible – a perfect illusion.
Since autumn 2024, this unique live program has been captivating generations of Udo Jürgens fans. Following its continuation in 2025, it will also be performed in Vienna’s Stadthalle in 2026. With actors and musical performers Tobias Licht and Karim Khawatmi, two well-known showbiz names currently guide audiences through the shows in alternately changing roles.
