Die Strottern & Das Velvet Elevator Orchester

Das Zusammenspiel der Wien-Virtuosen Klemens Lendl und David Müller mit dem Velvet Elevator Orchester zählt zum Schönsten, was die Stadt zu bieten hat. Das 16-köpfige Retro-Filmorchester Velvet Elevator wurde 2005 von Heinz Fallmann und Martin Ptak gegründet, um die wunderbaren Melodien und ausgefeilten Arrangements der TV- und Filmsoundtracks der 60er- bis 80er-Jahre live auf die Bühne zu bringen. Gemeinsam mit den Strottern macht sich das Orchester auf die Suche nach Wiener Liedern und Chansons »im Großformat«, wie sie in den 70er- und 80er-Jahren vor allem im legendären Austrophon-Studio im Wiener Konzerthaus entstanden sind. 

Eine musikalische Stadtrundfahrt durch Wien: Bekanntes, Aktualisiertes, Neues der Herren Leopoldi, Heller, Qualtinger, Sowinetz, Conrads – und der Strottern. Wechselnd in gewohnter Manier zwischen Original und neu erdacht, fragil und opulent. Es wird schon wieder schön!
