Maestro Giuseppe Lanzetta is an internationally acclaimed Italian conductor and the founder of the Orchestra da Camera Fiorentina, which he has led as artistic and music director since its creation in 1980.

Born in Florence, he graduated with honors in music and specialized in conducting, composition, and music education. He furthered his training through masterclasses and advanced studies with renowned conductors in Italy and abroad.

Lanzetta has conducted over 5,000 concerts worldwide — including in the USA, Brazil, Mexico, China, Germany, France, Spain, Portugal, Poland, Slovenia, Croatia, and Malta — earning consistent acclaim from both audiences and critics. He has collaborated with internationally renowned soloists and prestigious orchestras, and has appeared as a guest conductor with ensembles such as the Orchestra Sinfonica Siciliana, the Orchestra Regionale Toscana, and several orchestras in Latin America and Eastern Europe.

A passionate advocate for music education, he has led numerous educational initiatives, school concerts, and competitions aimed at young audiences. Under his direction, the Orchestra da Camera Fiorentina has also created projects that combine music with cultural heritage and outreach.

Das Festival „dei Concerti della Liuteria Toscana tra ’700 e ’900“ kehrt 2025 nach Florenz zurück und widmet sich erneut der Verbindung von toskanischer Geigenbaukunst und musikalischer Exzellenz. In historischen Räumen der Stadt erklingen Meisterwerke der Musikliteratur auf originalen oder originalgetreu rekonstruierten Instrumenten aus drei Jahrhunderten.

Unter der künstlerischen Leitung von Giuseppe Lanzetta präsentiert die Orchestra da Camera Fiorentina gemeinsam mit renommierten Solisten und Ensembles ein facettenreiches Programm von Juli bis Dezember 2025, das Musik und Handwerk auf besondere Weise zusammenführt.

In the heart of Florence, at the feet of Ponte Vecchio, stands out the prestigious Santo Stefano al Ponte Church, among the earliests in Florence. Romanesque, Gothic and Baroque styles melt themselves in a masterpiece of Art and Architecture. The inside houses marvelous artworks, as the beautiful Buontalenti’s staircase with a marmoreal balustrade of 1574. The excellent acoustics of the auditorium, its position in the old town centre and its inside magnificently decorated, make this venue unique in its genre. The Church’s atmosphere becomes incredibly magic in the night, when the lights turn down and the music fills the religious silence, and the audience immerse itself in the unforgettable experience of the union of Art, Architecture and Music.
