Background to the giant organ:
The original giant organ was destroyed in the cathedral fire in 1945. A new organ was built in 1960, but it fell silent after a few decades. Thanks to an extensive restoration by Rieger Orgelbau (2017-2020), the instrument now shines in all its splendour - a perfect combination of tradition and state-of-the-art technology.
Experience an extraordinary concert in one of the most beautiful church halls in the world.
