»Sound New World« with Igudesman & Joo
Aleksey Igudesman and Hyung-ki Joo, childhood friends and musical virtuosos, have dedicated themselves to humour in music with great esprit since their first joint programme »A Little Nightmare Music« (2004). They help classical works to gain a new perception and build bridges to pop. In association with The Limitless Orchestra, which already bears a certain limitlessness in its name, this time the focus is on the music of Antonín Dvořák, especially his famous Ninth, whose Afro-American and indigenous influences are traced with humorous enthusiasm. Last but not least, the alert comedic view of the world and events was and is a wonderful instrument of enlightenment!
