Musical cabaret with cult status
In 2019, they celebrated their »temporary resurrection« at the Wiener Konzerthaus, and now they're back! Landstreich plus, the legendary formation around Christof Spörk, Krzysztof Dobrek and Gerhard Draxler, is back at the Wiener Konzerthaus. Since 2017, the witty program between new folk music, musical cabaret and musical world travels has been refined by the virtuoso violinist and singer Johanna Kugler - since then, Landstreich has had the »plus« in its name. What began in the early 1990s as a student sideline quickly developed into one of the most original music cabaret bands in the country. The satirical songs, polyphonic vocals and Eastern European-inspired compositions made Landstreich a permanent fixture on the stages of Austria, Switzerland and Germany. A full-length program with classics from the Landstreich era, witty new numbers and plenty of tongue-in-cheek commentary on the state of the world!
