Schwanensee

Following Romeo and Juliet in the 2024/25 season, the series of dance classics continues in the Grand Hall with the participation of the Tyrolean Symphony Orchestra Innsbruck. Tchaikovsky's ballet Swan Lake combines one of the most iconic compositions with a fantastical fairytale world. The story of the fragility and power of love in an enchanted setting has captivated audiences worldwide for almost 150 years. Marcel Leemann takes on the beloved subject and, together with the dance ensemble, casts it in a new light.

Tiroler Landestheater Innsbruck (English: Tyrolean State Theatre) is the state theatre in Innsbruck, Austria, located near the historic Altstadt (Old Town) section of the city. The theatre is surrounded by Imperial Hofburg, the Hofgarten, and SOWI Faculty of the University of Innsbruck. The main theatre has about 800 seats and the studio theatre in the basement has around 250. Plays, operas, operettas, musicals and dance theatre are performed at the theatre.
