As part of this special tour, you will follow the elegant hoofprints of the world-famous Lipizzaners and immerse yourself in the development of the Spanish Riding School from its imperial beginnings to its current international reputation.

Our cultural mediators will guide you through the historic building with knowledge and charm and also take you to the Stallburg - home to the magnificent Lipizzaner stallions. The focus is not only on the noble horses, but also on the important personalities, traditions and events that have shaped this institution.

The Spanish Riding School Vienna is one of the oldest and most prestigious equestrian institutions in the world. For over 450 years, it has preserved the art of classical horsemanship in the tradition of the Renaissance High School, a discipline that is uniquely maintained at this historic institution.

The school is particularly famous for its white Lipizzaner horses, which captivate audiences with their graceful movements, intricate dressage exercises, and elegant choreography. In the magnificent Winter Riding School of the Hofburg Palace, an 18th-century Baroque masterpiece, visitors can witness breathtaking performances that combine exquisite horsemanship with imperial grandeur.
