Von Heimat und Tänzen
22.11.2025 - 29.01.2026 | Landestheater Tirol - Großes Haus
Dancing has always been a tradition – on the street, on stage, at folk festivals, in ballrooms, in villages, and in towns. Starting in Tyrol, Marcel Leemann and Austrian choreographer Simon Mayer explore cross-border dance traditions between past and present, asking how our origins literally move us all. The evening's live music will be led by renowned Innsbruck musician and composer Christof Dienz, who, with his ensemble “Die Knödel,“ effortlessly masters the musical balancing act between tradition and contemporary culture.
