Wiener Symphoniker WSY-Talent

The Vienna Symphony Orchestra is particularly committed to supporting young musicians. Since 2021, they have been awarding the WSY Talent Award every season, in conjunction with the “prima la musica“ youth music competition, inviting exceptional musical talents aged 14 to 19 to join them on stage to perform together.

In June, a jury will select the 2025 prize winners, who will work on a solo piece with orchestra for the concert together with conductor Martin Kerschbaum and the Vienna Symphony Orchestra and perform it publicly on October 19, 2025, at the Vienna Konzerthaus.
