Gespenster

Osvald Alving returns to his parents' house after a long absence, where his mother, along with Pastor Manders, plans to open an orphanage in memory of her deceased husband. With the son's return, the memory of his deceased husband enters the Alvings' house. The ghosts of the past emerge, prompting Mrs. Alving to finally break her silence. But even her version of the family's history is only part of the truth and cannot prevent the family's web of lies from literally going up in flames.
