Österreichs innovativste Gypsy - Balkan Truppe detoniert wie eine Lawine im Ohr und Tanzbein ihrer ZuhörerInnen. Die virtuosen InstrumentalistInnen spielen sich in herrlich durchdachten Arrangements durch alle denkbaren Musikrichtungen und liefern einen Konzertabend, der einen lauschen, staunen und springen lässt, dass es eine Freude ist.
Wer Folk, Rock, Hip Hop, Swing, Balkan Musik und vieles andere sonst noch liebt, ist hier bestens aufgehoben. Die Gewürztraminer spielen wonach ihnen ist und zeigen eindrucksvoll wie Musik verbinden kann.

Die Gewürztraminer sind seit einigen Jahren aus der Wiener Musikszene nicht mehr wegzudenken. Mit ihren innovativen Songs, die schon immer ein Schmelztiegel der Kulturen waren, bespielten sie viele Festivals und Konzert Locations in Österreich, Deutschland, Italien, Schweiz und Ungarn. Nun meldet sich die Band mit neuem Album zurück und setzt wieder mal neue Maßstäbe.
Der Wiener Background der Gypsy - Balkan Band tritt mehr in den Vordergrund und die Texte und Musik bilden einen Bogen von extrem tanzbar bis melancholisch.

WUK is a 12000-square-metre space of culture, workshops, and social gathering. Located in one of the biggest cultural centres of Europe, it is also at the intersection of artistic practice, labour, and political engagement. WUK offers a cultural space where one can contemplate, discuss, and explore. The former locomotive factory is now home to our four main program areas (music, theatre/dance, children's culture, arts at Kunsthalle Exnergasse:), 150 independent cultural groups and initiatives, and educational and advisory projects. WUK provides a venue as well as organizational support to those interested in art, politics, and social engagement. We offer various opportunities to get involved, including the use of the venue and organization support for social, artistic, or political projects. Active participation, self-management, and grassroots democracy form the basic philosophy of WUK. Our association is driven by our employees, friends, sponsors, artists, and visitors.
