Leonard Cohen kann zu Recht als einer der herausragendsten Poeten und Liedermacher seiner Zeit bezeichnet werden. Als Schriftsteller beginnend, kam er in den 1960er Jahren bedingt durch einen finanziellen Engpass zum Liederschreiben. Mit seinen eigenwilligen und minimalistischen Arrangements schuf er einen Stil, der bis heute unerreicht geblieben ist.

Christian Kölbl, in Wien geboren, besticht durch seine prägnante Stimme und seine Virtuosität an der Gitarre. Mit Nadja Milfait (Cello und Gesang) und Klara Dangl (Violine und Gesang) bemüht sich Christian Kölbl um höchstmögliche Authentizität und erteilt gezwungenen Pseudo-Cover-Versionen eine deutliche Absage. Dieser Abend ist für jeden Cohen-Fan ein Muss und jeder, der vielleicht noch nicht dazugehört, sollte sich die Chance nicht entgehen lassen, hier einer zu werden.
