Jadu Heart

Das britische Duo Jadu Heart – bestehend aus Diva-Sachy Jeffrey und Alex Headford – ist nun seit bald zehn Jahren gemeinsam musikalisch aktiv. Die aus London bzw. Huddersfield stammenden Künstler:innen fanden dabei von Anfang an Anerkennung für ihre unabhängige Herangehensweise an Musikproduktion und ihre Erkundung verschiedener Genres.

Den Fußstapfen kultiger Boy/Girl-Formationen folgend haben sie mit ihrer Musik und Ästhetik eine ganz eigene Welt rund um sich erschaffen und eine Horde von Die-Hard-Fans um sich geschart – mittlerweile rund um den Globus.

Von elektronischem Shoegaze über Drem Pop und Psych-Rock bis hin zu grungeigem Trip-Hop haben sie mit ihren bisher releasten zwei EPs und vier Alben das gesamte Spektrum der alternativen Musik abgedeckt. Während ihre Produktionen abwechslungsreich und manchmal sogar recht experimentell sein können, sind ihre Melodien immer ansprechend und eingängig.

So wundert es auch nicht, dass sie es über diverse Streamingdienste hinweg mittlerweile locker auf mehr als eine halbe Milliarde Klicks schaffen, von Fontaines DC für deren USA-Tour als Support verpflichtet wurden und auch erste eigene Shows in London, Bristol oder Manchester quasi im Vorbeigehen ausverkaufen. In Wien versuchen sie genau das auch recht bald – für Oktober 2025 steht das Flex im Tourkalender!
