Sun-soaked sea of sound
After the break-up of his former band Velojet, René Mühlberger retired - not to stand still, but to set off into new worlds of sound. With Pressyes, he created a solo project dedicated entirely to analogue magic. His much-praised debut »On the Run« sounds like a forgotten mixtape from the 1970s, infused with wanderlust, road trip romance and psychedelic pop sensibilities. Mühlberger is now releasing his third album - and is celebrating with a very special live show at the Vienna Konzerthaus. In »SUNDROPS!«, his most personal and at the same time most colourful album to date, Mühlberger creates a kind of fictional summer world. His songs sound like the coast, sun and holidays. Pressyes transform the Berio Hall into a sun-soaked sea of sound - full of warm harmonies, danceable grooves and euphoric vintage vibes!
