Alles Liebe
The programme presented by Ursula Strauss and the Bartolomey-Bittmann duo revolves around the theme of love: the highest of emotions in all its facets and colours - dreamy, playful, desperate, abandoned, daring, a joyful exploration of boundaries.
Texts and music – from dialect to poems, from Viennese songs to pop songs
The three artists move in the most diverse literary and musical genres: the enchanting dialect of Christine Nöstlinger sits alongside the highly romantic love poem and frivolous love affairs from the 1920s alongside Bravo lyrics from the 1970s. Folk songs and Viennese songs are juxtaposed with hits and pop songs or the music of Bartolomey-Bittmann, performed by Matthias Bartolomey and Klemens Bittmann with unmistakable energy on cello, violin and mandola - a sensual approach to the often overused concept of love, peppered with plenty of humour.
