A rousing operetta revue set in the heart of the Austrian Salzkammergut: At the “White Horse Inn” on Lake Wolfgang, it’s peak season. Head waiter Leopold is hopelessly in love with his boss, the innkeeper Josepha Vogelhuber – but she only has eyes for the regular guest, Dr. Siedler. When businessman Giesecke arrives with his daughter Ottilie and recognizes Dr. Siedler as the lawyer of his rival Sülzheimer, a chaotic web of love and intrigue begins to unfold.

“At the White Horse Inn on Lake Wolfgang, happiness is knocking at the door” – but what’s really happening behind the scenes? Jan Philipp Gloger’s production offers a humorous yet sharp perspective on tourism and overtourism. With music by four different composers, the show blends folk tunes, jazz, Viennese song, and classical symphonic sounds with foxtrots, marches and waltzes.
