Konstantin Wecker - Lieder meines Lebens

When Konstantin Wecker premiered his program “Songs of My Life” in March 24, the artist probably didn’t think that this concert evening would stay with him for much longer. But after over fifty celebrated and sold-out concerts, demand has not stopped. That's why Konstantin Wecker has decided on an encore and is putting on another 70 (!) “Songs of my Life“ concerts in 2025 - that will make his numerous fans happy! Songs have shaped his life – for over fifty years. For Konstantin Wecker, this is reason enough to reflect on the past decades in a wonderful way for himself and his audience on countless stages. With the chamber music program “Songs of My Life,” the Munich musician, composer and author presents his personal poetic highlights from the beginning to the present day together with his pianist Jo Barnikel – in the trio version also with the cellist Fany Kammerlander. The audience can also look forward to one or two surprises with almost forgotten songs. One thing has always been the same for the passionate pacifist and committed anti-fascist: “In my songs I have always allowed my fragility, my vulnerability.“ In doing so, he has always found himself - and thus also his followers, for whom his lines have always been an inspiration. And still are. You can all expect an evening that will give you courage, with songs and poems whose power will shape our lives for many years to come.
