Klaus Mäkelä, barely thirty and already at the helm of top international orchestras for years: his rapid rise is a source of amazement – and his concerts are a source of excitement. Since taking over as chief conductor in 2021, he has audibly shaped the Orchestre de Paris with precise contours and a fresh presence in the French repertoire.
